To ensure we have serious buyers and sellers on the Otonomy platform we ask all users who wish to have full access, provide us with a mobile phone number that we can verify and link it to their account. This phone number will remain confidential and will not be used for solicitation purposes ever.
Verify Number
- Navigate to your profile in the ‘My Account’ page by clicking on the profile icon (desktop) / settings menu (mobile) in the top right corner.
- On the ‘My Profile’ tab click the first ‘pencil icon’ in the section that contains your name to expand the section
- Enter your phone number in the ‘Phone Number’ field. The number needs to include your area code and the format needs to be +1 (XXX) NXX-XXXX
- Select ‘Verify Number’
- After confirming that the number is correct, select the ‘Request code’ button
- After receiving a unique code text on your mobile phone, enter the number into the empty field provided
- Press the ‘Confirm’ button
Update Verified Number
- Navigate to your profile in the ‘My Account’ page by clicking on the profile icon (desktop) / settings menu (mobile) in the top right corner
- On the ‘My Profile’ tab click the first ‘pencil icon’ in the section that contains your name to expand the section
- Type over the number in the ‘Phone Number’ field. The number needs to include your area code and the format needs to be +1 (XXX) NXX-XXXX
- Click on ‘Reverify’
- After confirming that the number is correct, select the ‘Request code’ button
- After receiving a unique code text on your mobile phone, enter the number into the empty field provided
- Press the ‘Confirm’ button
