As part of the registration process for an Otonomy account, we ask you to provide your name and a valid email address. This allows us to ensure that users on our site are serious about wanting to become part of the Otonomy community. Your email will not be visible to other members of Otonomy.
If you choose to pursue one of the Otonomy badges we ask for additional information for each badge level. Some of this information is shared as part of your Otonomy profile, while some is used only for internal Otonomy account validation.
The following information will be provided publicly if you post a for sale listing on Otonomy or if you communicate with another user via our messaging platform.

- Biography
- Position
- Social Media links (LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter)
- Otonomy Badge Level achieved
You can preview what this looks like by going to My Account–>My Profile and clicking on the “View My Profile As Others See It” link in the upper right corner.
Any additional personal information provided to Otonomy as part of your profile (e.g. phone number, email address, exact address) will never be shared publicly.
